I don’t think people should use Kickstarter to raise money for tour. I just think it’s weird. Especially if you consider yourself a DIY band.
It’s as if you’re asking your friends to pay for you to go on vacation. Plus, if you book it right, you shouldn’t have to pay too much/if at all for gas on tour.
Just something I was thinking about today as I saw another band asking for money to go on tour.
The Coyotes have a special place in my heart. I remember going to games with my mom in kindergarten when my family was going through a divorce and how important they were to our relationship during a weird time. I’ve fallowed them closely every year since and this year only reaffirmed why they mean so much to me.
On the bright side, I don’t have to worry about finding a place to watch the Stanley Cup final every night on tour now and I finally get to shave.
I’m bummed out that I wasn’t able to watch the whole game tonight, but I guess being around my best friends from all over at my favorite place in the world is better than being sad alone at home.
I don’t real talk a lot on this thing and it’s silly that I’m doing it about professional sports. Today was really close to being a perfect day though.
